Our first show...notre premier concert!

Already! This gig offer came as a delightful surprise. This lovely promoter, Louise Rousseau from Scène des Galeries d'Aylmer, really loves music and decided to create this brand-new three-day indie fest in Gatineau. You gotta love people like that. And the soundman, the excellent Yvan Tanguay, is one of the best I've ever worked with. You know when you hit your drum once and it's like, ok. Per. Fect. I check the mike, one-two, hey-hey...wowwww, niiiice. Ok, I'm done, here, let's get lunch! Like that. So we're in good hands, Paul Audy and I, for this very first gig. Aaand there's nothing like lighting a fire under a musician's chair to get us going. Lots to do! Rehearsing, learning all these new songs, practising drum and percussion parts...learning a bunch of lyrics. Visualizing that everything goes great: the audience is happy, the songs work, all is well...breathe, girl! Next step: composing original music and making arrangements using electronic programming. I've got my work cut out for me!
